Teen Talk was written by Ivory J. Simmons. It gives a Christian perspective to issues that teens face on a daily bases.
Ivory Justin Simmons is a native of Greenville, Mississippi. Simmons has always had a calling to help others, which has led him to a life of community service and academic leadership. He attends college at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi, where he is a pre-law student double majoring in Public Policy Leadership and Political Science with minors in Business Administration and English.
Simmons grew up in New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Myron Holmes, where he served as president of the Junior Usher Board and participated in the Youth Department. He now attends University of Life Church in Oxford, Mississippi under the leadership of Pastor Dedrick Benson and Co-Pastor Deona Dedrick.
Simmons was motivated to write this book based on his life experiences as a Christian teenager. He also believed that God has called him to share his testimony in hopes that it will bless, inspire, and be a light to someone else and their situation.
